Madras Photo Bloggers curated Chennai’s first ‘All Women Photo Walk’ on the 9th of June at Gandhi Statue, Marina Beach. This was marked as a moment of pride, as over 35 women of all ages and all professions came together to take a step toward following their passion for photography. The lovely Sunday morning started with a briefing by Vivek and a motivational heart to heart by Vasanthy Shrikanth, who then led the event. Madras Photo Bloggers granted the money collected as registration fees to Ramesh Krishnan, Vice President of TVS group, which was contributed towards the education of the girl child. This started the event on an inspiring and positive note.As the sun started to shine brighter, all the women walked towards the shore, capturing candid moments around them. Srivatsan, our founder guided them throughout the event, encouraging them to explore and answering all their queries. MPB, in association with Profoto Global, Srishti DigiLife and Sony Alphain provided the participants with one ProFoto light and two Sony camera lenses to experiment with and learn the art of photography more immensely. The participants were most excited and impressed by these products, making it the highlight of the event.
