CONSIDER BUYING MIRRORLESS FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
Compact Size: For someone like me, who travels a lot and is into adventure photography, the weight of the camera plays a major role. With almost every feature of a typical DSLR built into a mirrorless variant alongside a smaller and lighter body, it is a versatile product. The size and weight factors do not, in any way, compromise the quality of photographs. Its compact size makes it easy to fit inside your bag and move more easily.
What You See Is What You Get: The term digital SLR denotes the inclusion of a mirror and a special prism in the construction of a camera body for the purpose of reflecting light through the lens directed into the prism for the scene to be visible through the view finder. With the advent of mirrorless variants, this setup of mirror and prism has been withdrawn. Unlike DSLRs, mirrorless cameras don’t have an optical view finder. Instead, they employ an electronic version called the Electronic View finder (EVF). This means that the scene on the LCD screen is exactly what will, eventually, be captured. So, you will have a better idea of how the image is going to look like before releasing the shutter.
Shooting Speed: For someone into sports and wildlife, capturing those fast-paced moments are crucial. The number of continuous shots a camera can capture every second plays a pivotal factor. Most entry level mirrorless cameras can capture as fast as any high-end DSLRs can. This is made possible due to the lack of mirror in its construction.
Better Autofocus: DSLRs and Mirrorless employ different methods of auto-focusing systems, with the latter being superior. The auto-focusing system of DSLRs are slower and less accurate, especially when recording videos. On the other hand, Mirrorless cameras use newer and more effective technology called ‘Contrast Detect Auto-focus’.

Mirrorless cameras are compact, lighter and offer far superior auto-focusing technologies to produce outstanding image quality than their DSLR counterpart.
